Follow These Steps

How to Apply for Housing & Dining

  1. Fill out the Housing Requirement Acknowledgement and pay the enrollment fee

    • All of these items will be on your admissions status page check list.
    • Even if you are planning on moving into any of our University-approved housing, or living off campus (if eligible), you will still need to complete the housing plan indicator.

  2. Pay the $100 housing application fee and complete the Housing Application when it opens September 1.

    • The application gives you the opportunity to fill out a roommate matching questionnaire, search for roommates to match with, and note your preference for any living learning communities (LLCs).
    • After the Housing Application opens, log in at the above link with your Single Sign On (SSO) username and password.
      • This is the same password you would use to log into JoeSS, your email, or other S&T platforms. If you have not yet set this up, you can do that by following the instructions here.

  3. Choose your Housing Assignment

    • Students who've completed the application and enrollment fee by March 1 will choose their room and dining plan beginning June 7. Those who have submitted their housing application and enrollment fee between March 2 and April 1 will be able to pick their room and dining plan beginning June 14.
      • Detailed instructions on this process will be sent with the time slot information to your @mst.edu email.

  4. Send In Your Meningococcal Vaccination Records

    • Complete your meningitis requirement per Missouri State Law754 section 174.335 - In order to live in university-approved housing, including fraternities, sororities, and Christian Campus House, a student must have received a meningococcal vaccine. If you have questions about this requirement, please visit the Student Health websitePlease note: Students will NOT be able to move into the residence hall until proof of the meningitis vaccination has been received and evaluated by Student Health OR a request for a waiver has been submitted and approved by Student Health.
