How to Join

Incoming first-year students may join the Analog Living Community by noting their preference for the LLC in their Housing Application. This is a great opportunity for students looking to develop crucial skills such as cooking, crafting, baking, finances, and other analog skills.

Analog Living is a cozy, creative community for students who love the simple things—cooking, crafting, reading, baking, puzzles, games, and spending time together. Residents will build practical life skills while discovering new hobbies, making things by hand, and creating meaningful connections beyond the screen. Come learn something new, embrace your inner grandma, and make your space—and your college experience—feel like home. 

What to expect as a member of the Analog Living Community:

  • Connect with professionals through "how to" guided events
  • Find your niche hobby
  • Grow with your community as you build on experiences and understanding of crafting, cooking, baking, and other foundational skills.

Expectations for students in this community:

  • Regular attendance at meetings.
  • Meetings will be set on a schedule that works for the members of the community.
  • Topics of meetings could include: analog hobbies, embracing tech free experiences, financial success, simple repairs, car maintenance, and more.

Students who join the Future of Health community will live in Residential Commons 2 (RC2) double suites.

University Commons apartments feature:

  • Apartment style living with 4 bedrooms (2 people per bedroom), 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen, and living room.
  • Each bedroom features an extra-long twin bed, dresser, bookshelf, desk and chair per student
  • Internet access
