Setup & Support
Follow the steps below to get connected. If you are having issues with the internet, get 24/7 support by phone (833-548-7125), online chat (Missouri S&T Internet Portal), email (support@myresnet.com), or directly through the Boldyn App.
- For iOS14+ and Android 10+ devices: Turn off private address feature when connecting to MyResNet-5G or MyResNet-2G. You can find instructions on how to do this for iOS14+ or Android 10+.
- From a PC and Mac: When connecting for the first time as a new user, connect to “MyResnet Start Here” which will take you to the Missouri S&T Internet Portal where you can sign in using your @umsystem.edu credentials.
From Mobile: Download the Boldyn ResNet app from the App store or Google Play and sign in via your @umsystem.edu credentials.
Once in the portal (either by the app or online portal) create your ResNet account noting your new Wi-Fi password. You’ll use the new Wi-Fi password to sign in to MyResNet 5G or 2G.
- Register Your Devices: All devices should be added to your additional device list by MAC address in your portal. If you need to add additional devices in the future, visit the Missouri S&T Internet page.
- Connect to the network: Start by disconnecting and forgetting "MyResnest Start Here," then connect to "MyResnet-5G." This should be your default setting and will provide the fastest Wi-Fi connection. If your device is unable to see "MyResnet-5G," your device may not be able to operate at 5G speeds. In this case, connect to "MyResnet-2G" if that is the only SSID your device sees and set it as your default. In either case, you'll need to enter the default generated Wi-Fi password for your account or any custom one you set up on the Boldyn page.
