From picking your room and roommates to choosing your meal plan,  managing your options at Missouri S&T is easy with MyHousing. Not sure how to navigate the site? We've thrown together a quick guide to help you out, but feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions.
From the main MyHousing page, look at the top of the page for the navigation bar.
Click on "Applications and Forms" (outlined in this picture by the green box furthest to the left) and select the application you need to complete. For returning students, you'll select Housing Reapplication. For incoming freshman, you'll select Housing Interest Form (HIF).
Read through the Residential Life Housing Terms and Conditions.
Using the mouse, left click in the box and sign the Terms and Conditions. Note: The button at the bottom says “I agree - Submit my room selection”. This will only be the case if you are assigning yourself in open sign up or during same room. If you have already picked a roommate, it will say “I agree - continue to assign my roommate group”.
Next you'll need to fill out some personal information. Answer honestly, as it will be used to determine who will be assigned to your room if you do not request a roommate.
Finally, fill out the information for your missing person contact. A missing person contact is different than a traditional emergency contact, and is only used if a student is reported missing.
You can edit your Missing Person Contact or your Personal Preference Survey at any time by selecting Personal Information from the menu bar (outlined in yellow).

Housing Applications

To submit a housing application, start by using your Single Sign On (SSO)to sign in to My Housing. From there, click the Applications tab in the top navigation bar, and select the application you wish to complete. You will be automatically redirected to the Housing Terms and Conditions page. Be sure to read through the  terms and conditions, and feel free to contact Residential Life if you have any questions. Scroll to the bottom of the page, and sign in the box by clicking and holding the left mouse button.

Next you'll need to fill out some personal information used to help match you with a roommate with similar preferences. Note: Even if you already know who you would like as a roommate, please fill out this information. Finally, you'll be directed to the Missing Person Contact Information page. Missing person contact information is only used if a student is reported missing where as an emergency contact would be used if a student was in a known emergency situation. The emergency contact information is maintained by the Registrar's Office and can be updated in JoeSS.
Once you are done, click submit, and your application will be submitted.



From the main MyHousing page, look at the top of the page for the navigation bar.
Click on "Dining" (outlined in this picture by a teal box located to the far right) and click "Select/Change My Plan."
Click "Select Dining Plan."
Select the term you want to change your meal plan for and click Submit.
Read the various meal plan options and click the small button to the right of the meal plan you want. Note: You will be able to change your meal plan after you select one.
Should you want to change you meal plan, you'll notice the "Change Dining Plan" button. Clicking this button will take you back to the Meal Plan Selection screen. Select the meal plan you want and click submit to change your meal plan. Note: It may take up to 24 business hours for your request to be fully processed.

Meal Plan

Looking to select your meal plan? Start by selecting the Dining option from the navigation bar at the top and click the Select/Change Meal Plan option. This will bring you to the meal plan page. If you have already selected a meal plan, you will see the meal plan details with an option to change your meal plan. If you have not selected a meal plan, there will be an option to select your meal plan.

When you click the "Select Meal Plan" button, you will be prompted to select the semester your meal plan will be active. After you select the semester, you'll be redirected to a list of the meal plan options. Click the button to the left of the plan you want, and hit submit to confirm your selection.





From the main MyHousing page, look at the top of the page for the navigation bar.
Click on "Room and Roommate Selection" (outlined in this picture by an orange box located second from the right) and click "Roommate/Suitemate."

Enter the information of the person you would like to room with. You'll see any pending roommate requests you have sent listed above the search.
If someone has requested you as a roommate, you will see a confirmation screen. Note: You can not request a roommate if you a pending request.

Roommate Selection

Picking your roommate starts with selecting the Room and Roommate Selection option on the navigation bar at the top and clicking Select Roommate. You'll be prompted to select the semester you want a roommate for, and then be directed to the roommate main page.

Enter your prospective roommate's information into the search at the bottom, and a request will be sent to their account. You'll see any pending requests you have sent at the top of the roommate main page, and you can have up to four requests active. If someone has already requested you, it will show up under Pending Roommate Requests. Note: You cannot request a roommate if you have a current pending roommate requests.
