Residency Requirement

The Residential Life department provides convenient and comfortable residence hall living options in a variety of traditional, suite-style, and apartment style communities. Students that are freshman, sophomore, or under the age of 21 are required to live in residence halls or in university-approved housing.

As a resident, you and your neighbors have the power to interpret and enforce the policies of your community. If you want to make changes, you can participate in floor or house meetings and even become an active member of the hall governing bodies.

When you join one of Missouri S&T's fraternities or sororities, you'll develope leadership skills, make friends and have fun. Missour S&T has 27 social fraternity and sorority chapters, which comprises 21% of the student population.

Christian Campus Fellowship(CCF) provides university-approved housing for both male and female students. CCF is one of the largest student organizations at Missouri S&T with more than 300 members.

If you're interested in living off campus, there are certain criteria you must meet for to be approved. Our Residency Policy has all the parameters for exemptions of living in the residence halls or any other university-approved housing.
